At Coastal Auto Center, we take great pride in aiding our community.
We consider it a privilege to assist organizations and individuals as they improve our world and make a difference in the lives of others. Here are a few of the many ways in which we're giving back. They're our humble way of saying "Thank You."
The Cohasset Education Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt community based organization whose mission is to ensure that Cohasset students, teachers and administrators have access to the programs, materials and up-to-date equipment necessary to maintain a level of academic excellence in today's competitive environment.
The CEF raises funds throughout the year through contributions from residents, businesses and corporate and private enterprises who recognize that excellence in public education is essential to the social and economic fabric of our community. Entirely independent of the school system, the CEF maintains a close partnership with the school administration and evaluates for funding those needs submitted for consideration by teachers and administrations. The CEF is not intended to supplant or replace the public funding of our schools.
The Hingham Education Foundation is a non-profit, community-based organization committed to enriching the quality of public education in Hingham. Since its incorporation in 1992, the HEF has awarded grants to enhance educational quality throughout the system.
These grants provided funding for innovative classroom projects, development of teaching strategies, special programs, new books and materials, improving technology and more.
Funds for the HEF's programs are generated through community contributions, and all monies raised are used to extend public funding for the schools. All donations, in-kind contributions, and volunteer hours are gratefully accepted. For further information, please call the Foundation office at (781) 740-8217.

Wellspring is a private, 501(c)3, multi-service organization located on Boston's South Shore in Hull, Massachusetts. Wellspring programs reach beyond providing emergency services to help people to become more independent and productive members of the community. Wellspring acts as a catalyst, bringing community resources together to best solve problems and to offer opportunities for community participation through volunteering.
What would it take to change the world? Rotary's 1.2 million members believe it starts with a commitment to Service Above Self.
In more than 34,000 clubs worldwide, you'll find members volunteering in communities at home and abroad to support education and job training, provide clean water, combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, and eradicate polio.
Colonial Flag Foundation develops and implements programs to promote patriotism, a sense of civic duty and honor for those who serve our country.
Our programs encourage volunteerism and unity, generate awareness and raise funds for a wide array of issues in support of civic, service and other nonprofit organizations, and create an environment that helps to heal, honor, celebrate and educate.
As the first triathlon in this part of metro Boston, the Cohasset Triathlon has introduced many athletes to the sport for the first time. For elite racers in the region, our race has become one of the most sought after sprint competitions of the season. The Cohasset Triathlon combines a beautiful and challenging course with the spirit of competition all for the benefit of a charity we believe in.
Special Olympics Massachusetts provides year-round sports training, athletic competition and other health-related programming for athletes with intellectual disabilities throughout the state.
Through successful experiences in sports, Special Olympics Massachusetts athletes gain confidence and build positive self-images, which they take with them into their homes, classrooms, jobs, and communities.
It has been almost four years since we first sat down to organize the Scituate Duathlon, and in that short time we have not only become the LARGEST DU in the Northeast, and the 5TH LARGEST in the entire country, but we have also brought hundreds of new athletes into multi-sport racing and raised thousands of dollars for local charities and families.
Established in 1990 by concerned parents when widespread budget cuts threatened the quality of education. SHORE (Scituate High Opportunities and Resources for Education) provides financial support for the three "A's" (academics, arts, athletics), at Scituate High School.
Since then, SHORE has granted more than $850,000 to provide Scituate students with the best opportunities available to become accomplished young adults. With the current state of the budget, SHORE's mission has never been more critical! We need your support!
Being a Bulldog means always be a team player. A Bulldog can always be counted on when times are good, but more importantly when adversity sets in.
Being a Bulldog means always demonstrating professionalism on and off the field. When you wear your colors, you are representing a program that is built on hard work, respect and kindness to others. Our motto is that you treat others the way in which you, yourself want to be treated.
Being a Bulldog means being a positive role model in the community. Bulldogs understand that they are role models to kids and parents alike. Bulldogs also know that there are others in the world who are less fortunate, and when they are called upon, Bulldog Players work as a family to make a difference in the world!!!
Being a Bulldog means you give 110% both on and off the field in everything you do. Bulldogs work hard to keep up their grades in school and when they struggle, they work even harder to improve. Bulldogs are good brothers to their siblings good children to their parents, and good teammates to their fellow Bulldogs. Bulldogs work hard during practices and in games, and win or lose, a Bulldog fights until the very end!!
Welcome to the 2013 Hingham Little League Baseball Season! Last year over 800 girls and boys participated in the spring and summer baseball programs and we're looking forward to building on that in 2013. For the 2013 spring season, Hingham Little League has made some exciting changes.
Volunteers are critical to the success of Hingham Little League. Volunteers are needed for field maintenance and many other important functions. If you are interested in assisting Hingham Little League in any way, please contact any board member.
The Brain Aneurysm Foundation was established in Boston on August 19, 1994, as a public charity. The Brain Aneurysm Foundation is the nation's only nonprofit organization solely dedicated to providing critical awareness, education, support and research funding to reduce the incidence of brain aneurysms. The Brain Aneurysm Foundation has become the world's leading source of private funding of brain aneurysm research.
OUR MISSION: To provide support and educational materials to the medical community, the newly diagnosed, survivors, family members, friends and the general public regarding the facts, treatment options, and recovery process for brain aneurysms. With the help of the medical community, remain steadfast and earnest in the pursuit of brain aneurysm research that can directly benefit those affected.
Established in 1970, the mission of The Learning Center for the Deaf is to ensure that deaf and hard of hearing students achieve their full potential in an educational environment where language and communication are keys to building competence, character and community.
TLC also serves over 1,000 patients annually in a full-service outpatient audiology clinic. Through all its programs, The Learning Center serves children and adults from 86 towns in Massachusetts and 12 other states.
TLC is the largest provider of educational services for deaf preschool and school aged children in New England and is the center of Deaf Community activities for the greater Massachusetts Deaf and hard of hearing community.
Friendship Home's mission is to enrich the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families by providing quality respite care and support services in a safe and caring environment.
Since our inception, Friendship Home has been working to build the Home with a Heart, a retreat-style center located on grounds donated by the United Church of Christ that offers day and evening educational, vocational and social programs for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, as well as short-term overnight retreats, ranging from one night to two weeks. After ten years of working toward this goal, Friendship Home opened the doors to the lower level program and activity area of our Home in July 2010. We opened our respite and retreat center in January, 2012.
